Been holding off on playing Control until this thing arrives. Now the big question: do I play it in 1440p Ultrawide 144hz, or in 4k 60hz?

I don't think you could go wrong with either one. FINALLY got my shipping confirmation for my 3090. Gonna be here friday. I already have a buyer waiting so this won't be my card but if this is finally shipping then i should also be receiving my gigabyte 3080 soon as well which i will be keeping.
No GPU but the White Corsair RMx 850s showed as (almost) available on Amazon last night so I ordered that. $680 of $1058 spent so far (not including tax) according to PC Part Picker, but I still have to add a few things to that list. Still need RAM, CPU and cooler, MOBO, fans, and GPU. I'm going to try and use my existing windows installation so I don't have to buy another license. We'll see how that goes

I was able to get a 3090 FE at launch from Nvidia. My gigabyte 3080 i was able to order on newegg a couple days ago but as of now still no shipping confirmation.
I had a Zotac 3080 ordered on amazon but they cancelled that.
