I can vouch that DIY desk is worth it if you can get what you want. All you need is some lag screws and predrill the hole. Takes 10 minutes. Got the wood from a carpenter. Maple and stained it dark

We also repainted the room to be more webcam friendly.

Nah, I don’t think that way anymore. Games just don’t support ultra wide like that. I’m back to 16:9
Interesting, cause I ordered the G7 and realized it wasn’t an ultra wide. So I cancelled it and got the LG ultra wide. Hmmm.

Pops is going to slide me his x470 board since he grabbed up an x570. Ordered a Fractal Meshify C since they're on sale at Newegg. I wasn't planning to upgrade my rig, but this summer alone I'm sitting with new ram sticks, new case and a new motherboard. I'll probably close out the year with a new cpu & gpu. :russ:

Okay, I've gone back and forth on cases and decided on the Cooler Master H500.

No reviews on PCpartpicker but good on amazon:

Cooler Master MasterCase H500 ARGB ATX Mid Tower Case

I build in the H500 series. If it has a mesh front(Which they are nice enough to give both included) . It's good. It doesn't provide the best airflow in the H500, but it's okay.

Can remove the 140s and replace them with 120s for better airflow. 140s included are kind of weak from what i remember

You have this one in particular or the H500P or H500M?
The h500 blank is mesh.

Someone recommend me a router better than the arris surfboard sb6190, unless thats the elite level top of the line router which is unlikely based on my experience. Helped my dad install 2 arlo pro 3 cameras outside and there was a bit of lag. not sure if its the router or comcast just sucking but we got too many devices. those 2 cameras, a ring doorbell and camera, 4 smart tvs, robot vacuum, 4 smartphones, 3 ipads and a galaxy tab, plus the pc im using now, and video game systems. think i should upgrade my router or comcast cuz we likely crashing the server with so many devices.
