I'm somewhat interested in the 3080 for the boost in performance to GPU rendering on apps like Resolve but now I'm reading you have to swap out the PSU for a 12-pin connector PCI-E compatible one :francis: I got a i9900k/2080 in the box right now so it may not be worth it tbr. For the money I would probably see more benefit in most of the creative apps from switching to a 16 core/32 thread amd chipset anyway. Don't think I'm quite ready for the 32 core/64 thread behemoth they got  :damn:

Automatically transferred my chrome and firefox bookmarks and history as well

I’m using it full time on my machine now. Mainly because I use a Mac and need a good alternative browser to sync some stuff between machines and is not owned by Google

I like Integration with OS and accounts so I have Microsoft everything and Apple everything f.

Brehs I need help.

Just "finished" my first build:

Ryzen 7 3700X
Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus
MSI GeForce GTX 2060

Got it all hooked up, it powers on but no signal from the HDMI on the board or GPU. What am I missing?

Thanks.

Buying this case as well.

@HewittAve Did you get any extra fans?

@MidniteJay Do you think it's a necessity to get the extra fans?

This case doesn't have top fans, so that's why I'm wondering. I have never installed fans before.
Man my build went wayward lol.

Depends on your components.

I went for the simple positive pressure airflow:

Meshify C comes with one front intake and one exhaust fans, I don't know the quality of them but they aren't pwm. So I removed them and bought my own pwm fans to control and for a quieter setup. 2x140mm for intake and a 120mm exhaust the picture.

I got:
x2 Silent Wings PWM140mm for the front
x1 Silent Wings PWM120mm for the back.

Quiet as far as I can tell, but the temps sometimes hit 60-70 depending what I’m doing. I was cracking passwords yesterday and it spiked to 72.

Thinking of getting another one for the exhaust at the top as my studio gets pretty dusty as we don’t have great air flow
