Welp my PC I built 3 years ago died. Going to go ham on a new one. That Alienware auroa though has me thinking about a prebuilt. Anyone here have it and can attest to it?
Nzxt has best prebuildsWelp my PC I built 3 years ago died. Going to go ham on a new one. That Alienware auroa though has me thinking about a prebuilt. Anyone here have it and can attest to it?
I haven’t tried the new Auroa, but a couple of PCs ago I had the Area 51. Most of the components were good, except the PSU and Mobo were cheap. Heat was a problem with 2 GPUs in there. I see they can liquid cool GPUs for you now too. I’m a big fan of water cooling CPUs and Gpus. They run much cooler and much quieter. I don’t really know the quality of the Alienware water cooling though.Welp my PC I built 3 years ago died. Going to go ham on a new one. That Alienware auroa though has me thinking about a prebuilt. Easily 1440p 120hz+ specifically ips panel. 4k aint worth it and is more taxing. 4k is only beneficial for bigger screens like tvs when you sit at a distance.Question for PC heads... planning on upgrading my PC for cyber punk and other next gen games and I'm really conflicted over the monitor situation. 1440p monitor with high refresh rate--or play it at 60 hz on a 4k monitor? I currently have a 144hz monitor for FPS etc. I'm kinda leaning towards 1440p but wondered what you all thought. Would it really be worth it to go for a 4k monitor?

Can't wait for the 3XXX cardsDeath Stranding With DLSS 2.0 Allows for 4K and 60 FPS on Any RTX GPU | Tom's Hardware
DLSS 2.0 is NOT to be trifled with
I got a 4k60 and a 1440/165 gsync. I don't touch the 4k with games anymore, only on the TV if I feel like lounging. Once the 3080ti is out I'll probably upgrade the 4k to 165 gsync too.
Those frames and no tearing make much more of a difference for me than 4k vs 1440p
ending up going with the LG 27GL850-B 27Easily 1440p 120hz+ specifically ips panel. 4k aint worth it and is more taxing. 4k is only beneficial for bigger screens like tvs when you sit at a distance.
What are the odds of the new cards coming out before cyberpunk? I was ready to pull the trigger on the 2080ti but then thought better of it. Maybe I should wait and see what happens. Can't wait for the 3XXX cards
I would definitely wait. If the 3080ti comes out in Q3, that means you can have the best card for CyberPunk or get big discounts on the 2080ti. If it doesn’t, you can still buy the 2080ti. It seems win/winending up going with the LG 27GL850-B 27

I couldn't possibly buy a 20XX series card this late in the game. Especially when the new ones are around the corner.I would definitely wait.
