Don't know if this workaround has been posted, but a good friend of mine was having an issue with older Assassin's Creed games not running on his SSD. So he used a standard HDD instead.

Any reason why after I did an overclock, my bios shows 3.90GHZ but CPU-Z and HWmonitor show 3399Mhz current 3699Mhz Max?

Misconfiguration or are they just reading wrong?
Finally figured this out. For MSI B350, it has a "Game boost" mode in the bios and if you don't have it on, your overclock isn't applied when you boot into windows. Bios will read whatever you set, for me it showed 3.9GHz, but Windows would only show 3.4 as base clock. This even showed for CPU-ID & HWMonitor.

Ryzen 3900XT is rumored to release July 7th. It's supposedly cheaper, and better than the 3900X. Might also finally pass Intel, and the 10900k (i doubt it though)

I have a MSi b450 motherboard and I want to upgrade my cpu (ryzen 2600 to 3600). I need to update my bios on my motherboard. Is this simple? Just bought a 2070 super off a friend. Any tips or suggestions?

I need help brehs. Wanna build a gaming PC with around a $800 budget. Any recommendations?
Might be difficult for that price but hopefully one of the experts on here can recommend something. I suggest checking this subreddit out

つ ◕_◕ ༽つ Low prices take my energy つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

and also pcpartpicker.com to make sure everything compatible.

If you gonna be doing heavy gaming you definitely gonna need a graphics card and those aren't cheap. That'll probably take up a huge chunk of your budget but you might get lucky and find stuff on sale. Don't know what the market looking like for any pc parts now with all this covid shyt going on. Hopefully the prices on stuff has gone down.
