I remember when top of the line cards were 800 dollars but man I needed an excuse to build another PC I guess its calling me

I mean I used to sell new Honda Civics for $15k and accords for $17500 and iphones for $99-199

My computer randomly freezes for no apparent reason. I did a full virus scan and had 1 but it was cleaned, and I did the windows RAM check and it came back normal.

Anybody know what could be wrong?

Could be cpu overheating or even gpu. Use a program ti measure the temps to see if thats the issue. Mine did that and i realize the thermal paste that came with the cpu was garbage and reapplied with some 3rd party one and fixed my freezing/over heating issues.

Could also be corrupted file. Try running: sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth in Command Prompt.


If those dont work then it can be faulty PSU as worse case scenario

Guys what is the best GPU for $500-$600? I been holding out to get a RTX 4080 but prices still high years later ?
