This is why I love Microcenter man. I went there and apparently they didn't see my web order even though I got the pickup email so they basically gave me a brand new 3700x for the same price as an open box.
Welp, I will soon make the switch because I'm out here playing No Man's Sky at low everything and I'm probably at 30fps on everage Plus my GPU make random artifacts from time to time on my screen so it's timeIf you can hold off until December you can get real good deals on Black Friday. The last two years I've gotten most of my stuff from Microcenter on Black Friday. They probably have the best CPU Mobo combo deals.
For under $300 you can get the 1660TI ( if you don't need ray tracing) and that performs equal to or better than the 1070.
$270
MSI Ventus XS GeForce GTX 1660 Ti - Micro Center
$270
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Overclocked 6GB - Micro Center
The price could drop even more by Black Friday or you could buy a used 1070.

When I connect my headset to my monitor, the sound is weak.
What’s the best wired headset for sound and mic?
See about getting ram at 3000 mhz or higher, Ryzen cpu should perform better with it. Make sure to check ram compatibility with your motherboard though.Welp, I will soon make the switch because I'm out here playing No Man's Sky at low everything and I'm probably at 30fps on everage Plus my GPU make random artifacts from time to time on my screen so it's time
I made some updates after you guys comments :
System Builder - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB STRIX GAMING OC, P300 ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPicker
Code:- CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 2600X - MB : MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC - GPU : ASUS GeForce GTX 1660 Ti ROG-STRIX - SSD : Crucial P1 M.2 PCIe NVMe 500 Go (for Windows, I'll keep the other SSD as temp drive for video/image editing) - Case : Phanteks Eclipse P300 Tempered Glass - Fans : 2 x Arctic F14 PWM PST - RAM : 2 x G.Skill RipJaws 4 Series 8 Go DDR4 2400 MHz CL15 Keeping - PSU : Be Quiet System Power 7 700w 80Plus Silver - SSD : Samsung 840 Pro 120Go - MONITOR : AOC 27 E2795VH - HDD : 1 x 250Gb + 1 x 500Gb (not even full)
So basically, I upgraded on the CPU (dropped the cooler too) and GPU. Chose a "cheaper" MB and case and added some fans for better airflow (only 1 fan provided with stock case smh). I think I'm set now, I'll be waiting for September to pull the trigger but that should do it
Good looks. I thought about it but I read that frequency weren't that noticeable so that's why I settled for that. Anyway, getting some 3000 mhz won't hurt me so I'll get those thanks. And yeah that mobo is cool with DDR4 300mhz.See about getting ram at 3000 mhz or higher, Ryzen cpu should perform better with it. Make sure to check ram compatibility with your motherboard though.
