No Whammies!!
Lately, I've had my heart set on getting a CRG9 (If I could ever scrape the money together or if it went on sale for a deep discount) :
49 inch CRG9 Dual QHD Curved QLED Gaming Monitor Monitors - LC49RG90SSNXZA | Samsung US

However, I've got a new upcoming monitor to fantasize over...The lg38gl950g:
LG 38GL950G-B : COMING SOON - LG 38GL950G 38 inch UltraGear™ Nano IPS 1ms Curved Gaming Monitor w/NVIDIA G-SYNC® | LG USA

N03_1100_003.jpg

  • Nano IPS 1ms response time
  • 38” Curved UltraWide® QHD+ (3840 x 1600) Nano IPS Display
  • NVIDIA® G-SYNC®
  • 144Hz (175 Overclock) refresh rate
  • VESA DisplayHDR 400
  • RGB Sphere Lighting 2.0

I know this is wishful thinking, but I'm really really hoping the procing on this isn't THAT much worse than the CRG9

I have a problem guys, I have a ROG Strix B450-F Gaming motherboard and a Ryzen 7 2700x processor. The two led cords for the 2700x are listed as “option” in the manual, does that mean it’s not mandatory? Also, where do you put said cords on the B450-F Gaming Motherboard.

Anybody copped one of the RTX Supers? Thinking of copping the 2080S so I can get decent 4K frames on good settings finally. This 1070 ain’t cutting it anymore :russ:

Should be the RGB headers on your motherboard.

I have a 2070s. I play at 1440 144hz. Don't think it'll handle 4k 60 fps. You might just be better off save up for a 2080ti or waiting until next year.

I don’t need 60 ultra. I can finagle to 60 or get 40-50 from what I’m reading.

Then upgrade next yr :myman: I can afford the ti, I’m just not ready to put over 1000 on a GPU until it’s 4k and the minimum frames are 60 at ultra.

Which one the Ventus? I got the MSI Trio X which is really good and was $500 after rebate. This thing is huge though, 13 inches, so if you do get it make sure it fits in your case.

Fellas I have a vanilla 1080 card with a 144hz 2k monitor. Only game I really play is overwatch. Would I see any benefit upgrading to a 2070 super?

My PC has been stuck in a boot loop since Wednesday night after installing an update
:snoop:

I can't log in to Windows, I can't boot into Safe Mode, I've tried the Advanced Repair Options (created a recovery USB drive just to get to the repair options) and nothing is working. Last resort is Resetting the PC and keeping the files and reinstalling everything, but I realllllllllllly do not want to have to do that

I've tried getting into Safe Mode numerous ways and nothing gives. If I do have to reset this shyt, will my application project files and settings still be saved? I have some video editing projects that I don't want to have to start over on after reinstalling the software for them.
