Works for me :yeshrug:, and this is a 5 yr install with updates and hardware changes :umad:

Tried win 10 on my second machine and it didn't last two days :mjlol:, i'll stick to 7 until there's no more support for new devices :wow:

What speakers do you have there? I can’t read the logo.

Kef Q300 on my dedicated stereo system and Infinity Primus 5.0 for surround (i got rid of the 12" subwoofer)

Desktop widgets :whoa:

Love them :banderas:, i've been using since xp :flabbynsick:

Just trying to get a serviceable PC rig. Is this enough to run Apex Legends at 60+fps 1440p or nah. And how about the power supply and ram?

Do I need better cooling for the i7 maybe?

Whats your budget?

1300 max USD, the price I posted was in CAD

I'm not sure if you know or not but that same video card is $180 and comes with 2 free games until tomorrow

Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5 PCI-E Dual HDMI / DVI-D / Dual DP OC w/ Backplate (UEFI), 100411P8GOCL - Newegg.com

yeah i'll have to look at parts like this individually rather than buying straight from pc part picker. I notice Amazon has sales on the same PC parts all the time.

If it's not urgent I would wait a month. Computex is next week, and AMD is announcing their Ryzen lineup based on the new Zen 2 architecture. So you'll have the choice of either purchasing a previous generation Ryzen at a reduced price or save some extra dollars and build a more up to date system in a few weeks. Obviously tech is constantly shifting so you don't want to wait forever, but a month doesn't seem too bad if you don't need a new system right away.
