Jump on the dangerous open design case wave. Those look great and are where the innovation is taking place. Just be prepared to have no drinks on your desk, and invest in a lot of compressed air. I love my cougar conqueror case so much that I feel like the additional upkeep of having an open case is worth it
I actually own one of those, but it’s too powerful. It’s so strong I feel like it’s gonna break something. So I just waste money on 3 packs of compressed air every so often. I’m not taking any chances

The storage needs to be an M.2 MVME. Regular M.2 is just like SATA.
I'm fully aware I recommended a SATA based M.2 drive. Your average user has no use for NVMe drives nor is the price premium worth it over 1TB.
That motherboard has multiple M.2 slots, so he could always upgrade later if that what he chooses to build.

This last windows update got my laptop all fukked up
