I need a hobby, and I've always wanted to liquid cool GPUs. With that case, I'm gonna get everything rgb'd. Even my fukking ram is gonna light up :win:

Soft tubing is a definite advantage, easier to work with and change, or diagnose components. I went with System Builder - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6GHz 6-Core, GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB Founders Edition, PC-O11AIR ATX Full Tower - PCPartPicker and buying a full ready to go kit from ekwb isn't a bad idea. Avoid the headaches. The Vardar fans may be a little loud but performance will be great with that configuration. Make sure you have a drain and a setup for it with a T-fitting, drain valve and extra Plugs. A few 90 degree rotaries would help avoid kinking of the tubes in certain spots too. Dyes can be a headache as well so if need be use distilled water and PT nuke to stop algae growth.

Thanks, breh. That fits my budget perfectly. I appreciate it
Buy the parts listed separately pick what color dye you want, buy different fans don't use the EK fans if you want more lighting

that's the coolest asus board I'm envious, Good luck :salute:

Best part is how long you can continue using your parts

I've transferred my rad's through 4 builds now (2014)

Was going to soft tube my tr4 gen2 anyways it's putting out enough heat to feel through AC

Looking at the reviews, only the 2080 Ti is worth it. The 2080 is DOA and the 2070 will be a easy pass when it's finally released. Now I see why the 2080 Ti came at launch, the 2080 isn't faster than the 1080 Ti.

2080 ti is not worth it at all. U wont ever catch me paying $1200+ for a damn gpu.

When I say worth it, it's relative. It's the only step forward

Looking at the benchmarks, there's a reason NVIDIA only talked about ray tracing at the keynote instead of raw GPU performance.

The funny part is, ray tracing in its current form is a gimmick like PhysX and Hairworks and by time it's worth it and developers finally get around to implementing it, the new generation of cards will be out.

25% more performance for a 70% price hike.

I know I'm reaching, but are there any desk mounts out there with a 10-12" clamp?

Basic breakdown for RTX 2080/2080 Ti

Unless you got it to blow like Cigg every gen, don't even waste your time with RTX cards especially leave the 2080 to die. 2080 ti is Titan V performance so 4K 75 fps ish

*2080 ti would be great on a 4K 120hz TV too, for half of games - you'll easily get over 80-144 f ps
You aren't missing out - avoid RTX unless you can get for retail prices (2080 ti, 2070) Avoid the 2080 all together.

Entry level cost (monitor + gpu) for 1440p/144hz gaming is 800-1200
Entry level cost (monitor + gpu) for 4K/144hz gaming is 3200-4500

4500 + taxes to game in 4K 100hz + taxes in certain titles:mjcry:

I was thinking about a color scheme for my future build. I'm kinda interested in doing a Jackson Pollock type case, where I just drip blotches of paint over the case, and have the inside lighting rainbow colored (no 6ix9ine :dame:). I wanna have the base color be black though, then crazy vibrant colors dripped over the rest of the case. So, something like this:

I dunno though. It could look too crazy and all over the place. I'm gonna think on it :patrice:
