:patrice:

Turbo Boost is one core though, so it's false advertisement

True - yea but most people still aren't overclocking. It's a overtalked about activity in the pc market.
Think I may sell my 1080 and get that 1080ti :patrice:
Nope wait for new gpu or buy used a 1080 ti (540-600)
best place to buy

Very conflicted on whether to get the 2700X or the 8700K.:mjcry:
At stock (meaning you won't overclock) I'd go with the 2700x, if you are overclocking I'd go with the 8700k but remember you have to buy a 70-160 dollar cpu cooler to go along with it. All reviews will agree, at least between 1080 (5-10% difference), 1440 (1-2% difference) and 4K gaming -1% difference. Also you shouldn't waste your time getting a x470/x370. A b450/b350 is more than enough unless you are sli.

I should of just gave up intel all the way after the 5960x/7700k but I have a problem. Have yet to try a second gen ryzen yet, always itching. :mjcry:

Can someone explain VRMs?
Voltage regulator module - converters that give cpu voltage, it basically helps keep the cpu running at the right voltages to prevent damage.

Edit* new monitor is having gloomy problem again, fukk it returning it for good, now I have no gsync monitor beside 2560x1080 from dell :francis:

How much would it cost to build a good 1080 60fps pc. I have a X and a PlayStation Pro. Willing to let the X go if I can build something that plays smooth for a decent price. No more than 700. Is that possible?

Maybe I should keep it, please don't under deliver I'm struggling to push over 75-80 fps with struggle 4K settings all turned off in most games :mjcry:

According to forums it just seems to be a general issue,

I can only dream that it comes with 12gb or 16gb of gddr6, I'll sport a 1180 sli for a year before 1180ti comes out.

Something called the 1180+ is supposed to come out a month later, September 30. What an 1180+ is, I dunno. Is it the new branding for the ti lines? Is it the new Titan? Anyway, I'm waiting for that version.

Also, a bit of an update. I was having random bsods like last month, and I basically ignored it. Well, it's been 2 weeks, and I haven't had a bsod at all. I even left my computer on for 2 days straight, to test it out. I dunno what happened, but :win:

You reset bios or moved ram sticks? Maybe a dead ram slot. Also is task manager reading 32gb of ram?
