Well, quality PCs aren’t cheap. Some of us in this thread spend way more money than that on PCs. shyt, that whole computer is about $1,000 less than my 2 GPUs (and that’s just for my graphics cards, nothing else).

PC gaming ain’t for the weak of heart :francis:
Gaddamn ya moneys must be long...

Good part about building your on system is you can take your time and buy it piece by piece until you have all good shyt. This is my system here, Brought a few parts every check. Last thing added was an Monitor that hit for another 600$.

There better be a i9 in there. Why get a 1070 ti for a 2300 build :scust:
Look at this build - System Builder - Core i9-7900X 3.3GHz 10-Core, GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ACX 3.0, S340 (Matte White/Purple) ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPicker

This is exactly how you don't build a pc a ryzen 7 2700x for a 2300 build with a almost 200 dollar aio when a 120mm radiator would be enough to reach 4.2., almost 200 dollar case. Small size SSD, 16gb of ram for editing. This is a 1500-1600 bulid at best. Who finessed this man

@Dualistic Embodiment

Build a Ryzen 5 system. New gamers will not know the difference between 120hz and 144hz. You'll be able to upgrade in the future too if you'd like.

I also suggest you always want to certain your build around the monitor you are playing has a new gamer I would recommend you get a 1080 144hz monitor (200) or a 1440/144hz monitor (300)
If you get the first monitor option get a amd rx 580 8gb (270 or less check for reddit buildapcsales) or 1060gb (280 or less check same reddit place)
If you get the second monitor option get a rx vega 56 (do not pay more than 450), or 1070 (do not pay more than 400)

This was the thing we went over this was the leased gpu with the buy option that's been said getting switched with the release of the highest end 11 series card. We went over that a few times, that aside the 1070 ti has been able to push 1440p with no issues as a tide over card. The Kraken was def needed as its one of the best Aio coolers possible you can't knock a person for having the money for it, as it cost about 40$ more then the lower variant. As far as a okish sized ssd 250 is perfect for me and can always add more ssds. The 2700 is a beast of a cpu.. You wilding out fam and giving people wrong information. Some of the best pc builders in the world, use high end AIO and cooling solutions even with low temp cpu's like the 2700x.

You didn't mention video editing you should of went this route. You need more ram if you are editing, I supplied a better gpu, I supplied 2 more cores or keep the ryzen part of the system but please you are overspending on cooling and a case. The i7 8700k would of still of been a better choice for editing and you could of easily bought a 1080 ti

System Builder - Core i9-7900X 3.3GHz 10-Core, GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ACX 3.0, S340 (Matte White/Purple) ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPicker

Adobe Premiere Benchmarks - i7-8700K vs. 7980XE, Ryzen 2700X, & 1950X

Read this, you should of went intel video editing + gaming

I am not trying to get at you. I just want all you to get the best bang for your buck with a future upgrade path too if you decide to do more or get serious with editing or gaming.

I just paid like 700 for my 1080 like two months ago:sadcam: you mean to tell me all I had to do was wait 60 days:mindblown:

Unless you gaming at 4k or 2k 120hz...getting an 11 series card is going to be complete overkill...

I got 2 1080ti's using a 4k gsync monitor...I took one of them out for a few weeks to do some testing and I noticed almost NO difference in games other than crysis...which is mostly a tech demo anyway...and witcher 3 with max settings...and even then if i just set everything from ultra to high it was buttery smooth...so this second 1080ti i have that a paid almost 600 for isn't really doing much in my 4k gaming rig since just one card itself is hilariously powerful.

I don't think I am going to be updating my gpu for at LEAST another 2 years...probably 3...i expect the 1100 series to be better than the 10 series...so unless you making a huge leap resolution and / or refresh rate...the 10 series should be just fine for you

Lol damn bro I keep telling you when that 11 series drop in the fall I'm getting it. I have one reserved. I have unlimited upgrades on gpu's kinda like Sprints phone plan. One big regret is do have is that case it wasn't worth 200$ that case smart hardware is trash.
