I've always used cherry red for gaming. blues/green programming (at home), used to use browns for the office
Want to know if anyone uses cherry mx-speed silver and recommend it over red?

It's a good build to start with, but you are going to want to replace the gpu in like a year or 2

That's ok, but it is overpriced (as usual for a prebuild)
The touchpoint/finger mouse is amazing man. I barely use my touchpad anymore for scrolling.
Nah it's pretty good this is the cheapest I could build similar to spec

Scratch windows 10 and get a 6GB GTX 1060
The 3GB GTX 1060 is no go because it has less Cuda cores.

I know but he clearly doesn't want to build his own PC
remove window 10, it's still 850 before shipping and taxes
Find him a better gaming system then around that price
I'd suggest he go used get a 1070 and a i5 8400/8600k more ssd but new i5 8600k and a 1060 6gb
