It's good, but tbh just go with an older Ryzen cpu if you can find it at a good discounthow is this for a new pc build?
Ryzen 2600x
Gigabyte Aorus X470 motherboard
Sapphire Nitro RX 480 (already on current build)
What power supply/ram should i get? Also looking for stylish case/fans. Any suggestions?
Not sure why you would rent a GPU unless it is a really short term build and trying to hop on the new gen asap. Finally finishing ordering all my PC parts for the new rig two hardest choices I had was buying a gpu now or waiting for the new series and the 8700k vs 2700X... For the Gpu I went with renting one for 70$ a month with a return or upgrade option at any time that way when the new gpu's drop if I cant manage to get one before they sell out I have one until they restock.
Now this was the ruff part for years Amd was clowned for their cpus, but after doing more reviews then any I have ever did I seen people hard pressed to say what was the better cpu, It ended with more supporting the 2700X has it will be better overall for video editing and streaming.
Here's the parts I went with.
2700X
P5 Case by Thermaltake
3200 16GB G.Skill RGB
850 Gold RGB psu Thermaltake
Gigabyte Arous Gaming 7 X470 mobo
2TB Seagate Firecuda Hardrive
250GB 970
Srtix 1070 ti Rented
Cant wait to until the parts arrive.
@LÍQUIDO @itsyoung!! @Ciggavelli I'm looking for a decent priced 1440p monitor yall got anything yall can recommend?
I didn't want to go all out on a gpu just gonna see how news shake in the next few months, I should have worded it better it's a lease program I can use a buy out option if I dont feel like waiting for a new line up to come out. Yea that x470 was overkill but I liked the features and look, I'm sure in the p5 case its gonna look dope. Not sure why you would rent a GPU unless it is a really short term build and trying to hop on the new gen asap.
I like your choices. The Firecuda/WD Black are pretty much identical in performance I believe, but Seagate might have the longer warranty. X470 is probably overkill, but nothing wrong with having the highest end AM4 chipset.
EVGA lets you upgrade your card if a new model comes out within 90 days I think.I didn't want to go all out on a gpu just gonna see how news shake in the next few months, I should have worded it better it's a lease program I can use a buy out option if I dont feel like waiting for a new line up to come out. I need 64” of screen
But for real, one is a 32” 4K g-sync and the other is a 32” 1440p, 165hz g-sync. I gotta have access to both. Sometimes you wanna go 4K and sometimes you wanna go 165hz
