What should be my strategy if I plan of playing “controller” games(platformers; action-adventure, racing games) on a big screen tv?
Well, that depends on your TV. If you're going 4K, then you need a lot of power. If it's just a 1080p tv, then you don't need nearly as much.

Finally finishing ordering all my PC parts for the new rig two hardest choices I had was buying a gpu now or waiting for the new series and the 8700k vs 2700X... For the Gpu I went with renting one for 70$ a month with a return or upgrade option at any time that way when the new gpu's drop if I cant manage to get one before they sell out I have one until they restock.
Now this was the ruff part for years Amd was clowned for their cpus, but after doing more reviews then any I have ever did I seen people hard pressed to say what was the better cpu, It ended with more supporting the 2700X has it will be better overall for video editing and streaming.
Here's the parts I went with.
2700X
P5 Case by Thermaltake
3200 16GB G.Skill RGB
850 Gold RGB psu Thermaltake
Gigabyte Arous Gaming 7 X470 mobo
2TB Seagate Firecuda Hardrive
250GB 970
Srtix 1070 ti Rented
Cant wait to until the parts arrive.

@LÍQUIDO @itsyoung!! @Ciggavelli I'm looking for a decent priced 1440p monitor yall got anything yall can recommend?

What the fukk are you renting a GPU for, bro just buy it and get done it with it :hhh:
1070 Ti should cost you right at 499.99 or under.

Monitor options - Choose A Monitor - PCPartPicker

My suggestion in order would be, G sync is for nvidia, freesync is for amd radeon.
1. 379.99 - Dell S2417DG - 1440/165hz/tn panel/g sync
2. 599.99 - Acer XB271HU bmiprz - 1440/165hz/ips/g sync
3. 429.99 - Nixeus NX-EDG27S - 1440/144hz/ips/freesync

Great if you want to save money just buy a b350 (make sure bios is updated) but if you don't care for the 60-70 dollars keep the x470 board. Get 16gb of ram, find a 650-750w powersupply (I suggest you get semi or full modular powersupply)
Get a S340 or s340 elite, phanteks s400s, meshify C TG, thermaltake view 21 or 22 TG or 31 tg
