hey now, Intel has been doing the shadiest shyt for the longest and don't even get me started with Nvidia, apple will never do business with them again when they owe apple over a billion dollars because of the recall issue. Let AMD struggling with GPP, do their thing

Also here are some facts about Nvidia GTX 1180

Source: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1180 - Specs, Performance, Price & Release Date (Preliminary)

Launch in July, based - named Turing
8gb to 16gb GDDR6
performance better than a Titan XP
Price $699

:whew:
What will the next 1180 Ti or Titan do

We might actually get cards that can handle 4K 144hz in SLI
I'm down with $700. I hope that's true

I’m hoping that we can get to 4K 144 fps, but I’m very skeptical. We will need 2-3 times the power of the current gen (which will be very hard to do, if not impossible). I put aside $2400 for two new titans, when they come out. I’m very much hoping it’s a major step up.

applying the same gain for the 1180, if the numbers are true. We should see a 51% boost from previous Titan XP

I think you are going to need more saved for next titans in SLI, they will probably be 1500 each knowing how nvidia rolls

In battlefield 1 4k ultra, it's hitting 90-120 already. Easily next gen will do 4K 144hz with certain titles.

I hope they’re not $1500 each. I can’t justify spending $3K on sli, when 90% of all games don’t even support it. Maybe it’s wise to just wait for the ti versions instead. $2400 will definently cover that. I dunno; knowing me, I’ll be super tempted to buy the new Titans, day one. We’ll see if I can maintain some restraint :lupe:

The titan V price is telling, it's like when the Titan Z came out. Nvidia knows they have the edge, from 1k to 1200 to 1400/1500. so If it's a 500-600 dollar difference again, I'll stick with the Ti too. myself. Since I'm not dropping 3k on a monitor 4k 120hz tv it is :russ:

For real. $6K on GPUs and 1 monitor isn’t where it’s at. Then again, if we don’t buy 144hz 4K monitors, getting 2 new titans/tis is pointless. Hmm...:jbhmm:

If I put $3K more in my pc, and buy a $3K 4K 144hz monitor, my pc setup would be pushing 5 figures. :sadcam:

It's not worth it, this was my biggest fear with next Gen gpu. The monitor - tv market is too slow. You can buy 6 Acer G sync 1440 monitor for that price :russ:

Maybe SLI will be gone for good

Look at these examples:

This guy has great examples of 4K gaming:

So, I could by a $3K 4K 144hz monitor, or get two more 32" 4K Acer monitors for $2K :jbhmm:
Neither :russ:
Unless work related purpose

3 - 27 inch 4k monitor setup if you play any racing games then again, racing games are the perfect triple 4k 144hz monitor too bad I'll never experience that anytime soon

I broke down and bought a 27" Dell 1440p, 144hz monitor today. I was waiting for the 4K version, but given the rumored price and big delay, I picked up the dell at BB.

Now, time to set up :lupe:
