"2K" is really 1080pwhat is the deal with monitors? i want a high end computer. I might grab that Ryzen 7 and probably a 1080 ti or 1060.. what monitor is the best? I don't want to over pay something. I want 2k gaming if that is what popular these days. i think they refer it to 1440 p gaming?
"2K" is really 1080p
4K refers to the horizontal resolution being 4000 pixels (2160x3840). 2K would be a horizontal resolution of around 2000 pixels, or 1080x1920
Hell yea that monitor is fukkin running 600 bucks most of the time. nikka need to hop on that.Man that's a great fukking price on that. The 23.8" model usually goes for $400
Bro cop that shyt RIGHT NOW before the price goes back up.Alright. This is it.

Lmao.Brehs I was literally right around the corner from a Best Buy when I seen that price get posted. Scooped it up ASAP. shyt is mind boggling. I paid $379 for the 24 inch a week or so ago. I'm returning my 24 inch tomorrow
Edit: I almost caught a damn heart attack when I looked at the box and seen "FULL HD" and didn't see the word "Gaming monitor" on the box. "Twice the detail of FULL HD" Looked up the monitor model number and confirmed it's the right one.
The shyt is a night and day difference. The trade shows I attend the people looking at simple shyt on some of those Acer Predator models at 144Hz leaves people likeSo I copped that monitor...
And I'm not quite sure my eyes can properly understand what they're seeing
I'm playing at a higher resolution so obviously performance is lower...but it feels like I'm playing at the same FPS AND smoother. What kinda sorcery is this
EDIT: I just went back to a game where Gsync wasn't enabled and the difference is even more noticeable
@LÍQUIDO @The War Report @spliz Ya'll may be right. 1440p/144hz Gsync may be the best combo for gaming right now if you have the right card.
And don't even get me started on how 1080p looks
Bro. Use the settings that I gave @Fatboi1 earlier in this thread. shyt will make it that much better. And make sure u went into the windows display settings and set the refresh rate to the monitor refresh rate.So I copped that monitor...

This is the shyt I been saying in the last few threads over the last few days. nikkas dont get it.The shyt is a night and day difference. The trade shows I attend the people looking at simple shyt on some of those Acer Predator models at 144Hz leaves people like
I just play on PS4, what is this?
Is this the same game or a sequel on PC only so far?
That's why I laugh at all the pixel counting the PS4/XBOX fans do, that shyt is not as important as they think it is
Oddly the 27 inch was set to 60hz refresh rate when I plugged it in. G sync was automatically turned on. I keep v sync off in game and just set Rivatuner to 144 fps cap.So I copped that monitor...
