If I had read into this G-sync shyt before I built my rig, I could've prevented all of this. It's a good thing I don't care about gaming at 4K while being occupied with all these frames...

Yet :beli:

Hopefully the bump from 1080p to 1440p is noticeable enough.
I got the 24 inch version of that monitor. That G sync is the truth. Once you hitting 90fps+ it's smooth as butter.

So it's been about a week or so since I bought the 165 G sync monitor?? Anyway I tried to play a game on my 4KTV for shyts and giggles and damn, the 60fps literally looked like 30fps to me. I kept looking at the fps counter to make sure I wasn't tripping. Playing with a controller also made it worse. Everything felt so slow and laggy. (Destiny 2)

Like wtf? :mindblown: Idk if it's the combination of the very low input lag on the monitor+the 165 hz/G sync that's doing that but damn does it make a difference. I immediately exited the game after 5 minutes. HDR on the 4KTV looks good but that shyt isn't nothing compared to this. :wow:

good combo. but what type of monitor should i get? I want 1440p stuff or whatever is better than 1080p. i see the major difference. so i think i need a 4k monitor or 2k monitor.
2K/High refresh is the way to go.

If you are willing to shell out extra for a nice monitor make sure it is a GSYNC monitor.

Leave all that pixel counting shyt to the console dweebs.
