Should have bought some DDR4 RAM last year even though I didn't have compatible hardware at the time. These prices are ridiculous even for used sticks.

Yeah, new job. Plus, DC is way too expensive. I'm gonna be making D.C. money in the Houston area. Plus, no state income tax
I basically cut my expenses in half. Plus, I might move to downtown Houston and work at the other office. I hate TX, but the D.C. area is

Nah, I'm originally from the NYC area (I grew up near Stamford). I was born in SA, TX though (but only lived there for 2 years, so I don't remember it).
Ultimately, once I get to a certain pay level, I'm moving to NYC, proper. I love the northeast.
I was in Chi for like 3 years, as a consultant doing medical research. Now I do UX, but hope to become a professor soon (I can do applied cognition, comm, psych, business, stats, etc.)
Nah I haven't been for a while. But there is a chance I move back to the area soon if I get a transfer.
Most likely going to be NJ or the outskirts of the city tbh. Manhattan is too hectic for me these days.
