yo seriously i am amazed how they were able to pull these graphics off on ps4.....pc heads talk a lot about resolutions and framerates but ive never played a game that looks this good....pc or console. The overrall look. Im playing the game over on hard before i trade it in.....i hope they make a sequel and flesh it out. This could really be another "the last of us" league type of game....they just need to make a multiplayer component and make a little longer 1 player experience and its will be a certified classic. Cant believe the reviews this game got man...disgusting smh

Yes i know pc gamers can have super high res and super high framerates...but the games are usually just upscales of console games....its not the same man. Nobody is making games that REALLY take advantage of the technical merits of pcs....for one studios cant afford to. We are at the point where the engines in pc's are above what studios are even willing to make in regards to costs.

and i hate you dudes comparing this game to ryse....too COMPLETELY different experiences that you fakkits are lumping into the same column just because of great visuals smh.

I wouldnt fukk with ryse because im not into shallow hack and slashers. Shadow of Mordor is a step in the right direction of what gets me paying attention to those types of games again and that game isnt half the visual quality of ryse.

Gears of War 1 came out a year before and was seen as the better game as it had co-op and MP on top of very solid shooting mechanics. Uncharted didn't get actual smooth shooting mechanics until UC2. You still don't get our point.

We're not saying The Order is straight up pound for pound like UC1, we just say that we see The Order as RAD's "uncharted 1" in that the sequel can improve greatly. The sequel to UC1 was amazing and MUCH better than what most people thought. A sequel for The Order adding in MP, and longer campaign with more replayability as well as better designed combat scenarios and encounters would make it the UC2 for RAD.

Any game with better everything will be better :stopitslime:

Shallow shooter

Shallow back slasher

You might like shooting better, but both games are shallow representations of their respective genres with a concentration on graphics and cinematics.

Starkset...
Exactly. The same clowns that ripped Ryse to shreds, despite the AMAZING visuals and admittedly boring gameplay will somehow find a way to love this game. If you love this game but hated Ryse, your a fukking hypocrite, especially since Ryse actually had a fun multiplayer.

Did Ryse have secret society/real historical figures/vampires/warewolves/futuristic weapons in its storyline??
what was Ryse's story about??
serious question. b/c it looks nothing like the Order's story from what I've seen....

Anyways...I'm actually playing the game. Got through chapter five today.

I really like this so far. The visuals and atmosphere are off the charts. I find the gunplay to be extremely satisfying. Like a lot of others, I do wish there was more of it. The pacing still feels pretty good to me. I understand the knock against it of too much walking around and some slow sections, but I've taken it as a somewhat realistic portion of it. If you were in that situation, you'd be examining stuff you found and there'd be downtime.

Obviously, it's not gonna appeal to everyone in a video game, but that's what I think their intention was. :yeshrug:

I hope they get the opportunity to make a sequel. I rarely say this, but if they added multiplayer...just imagine lighting people up with that three-blast shotgun. :banderas: It would be a major selling point for the next game.

Ryse was a launch game. The order is 2 years in the PS4 lifecycle. Try again.
Ryse isn't fun to me. The overall experience isn't enjoyable and so I haven't really been playing it. The Order I played it and enjoyed it. I didn't put it down and start playing other games because I liked playing it.

The critic score is a half a point higher. The User score is almost a whole point higher with 30% more reviews. The Order is better. Critics agree, users agree. The only people in disagreement are Xbox fanboys.

Got the plat. on this game last night. My thoughts...

- I liked the combat sequences and wished there were more. The guns feel really good.
- Wished they had given all the guns some kind of alt. fire
- I can understand how some have a problem with the pacing in the game, especially at the beginning it's really slow, but I think it picks up around chapter 4.
- The lycan battles were shyt and annoying. They've got to improve this if there's a sequel
- Easily the best looking game I've ever seen.
- The story takes awhile to get going and they don't really give you a lot of back story to pull you in right away, but again chapter 4 is where things start to pick up.
- There are too many cutscenes in this game. I think it would've been better had they went the last of us route and told more of the story through gameplay and reduced the amount of cutscenes
- Would've liked to have seen the collectibles have more importance. A lot of the stuff you find don't seem to add anything to the story or lore

Overall I really enjoyed this game and hope that RAD gets a chance to flesh out this world with a sequel.

Edit: Why are there nikkas in this thread who have never played the game commenting on the gameplay?

Because watching it and reading about it is the same. :troll:
