Anyone ever have problems where the xbox is in instant-on mode yet doesn't download updates while in rest mode? I've had this happen several times where i wake up the xbox and it says UPDATE NEEDED (fot a game or even the system)....I've rebooted the system completely and sometimes it still happens...

I think it's for people in the UK only.

As for the hard drive at the OS level over the summer Microsoft enabled game installs over external hard drives. People have noticed if you use a 7200 rpm hard drive the load times are cut down vs using the internal 5400 rpm one.
