I did 1 match report. I did submit it, they said it would go up, don't think it has, whatever though, no point now, game was 3 days ago. Too much has happened since for it to be relevant imo.

England hasn't reached the final of ANY competition since the 1966 controversial fluke. In fact, they hadn't done anything even before 1966.
Since, they've reached the semis only twice (1990 World Cup and 1996 Euros). They also failed to qualify for World Cups (74,78,94) and Euros (64,72,76,84,08).
That's beyond abysmal... and yet they consider themselves as a major soccer nation!
Even "their" clubs relative success is brought by foreign players, foreign coaches, foreign owners and foreign money

Whether you like it or not, they are a big football nation.

And as for their clubs success in Europe, checks the stats, English club from the late 70's to Heysel were dominating Europe.
