You got people in this thread from all corners of the world foaming at the mouth and falling over each other to be the first to display their anger.

The irony is of course that saying we're deluded is in fact the most deluded thing being said in this thread. Their only hope in this tournament is that OUR hopes are dashed, as though they were huge expectations.
The truth is we can't lose. We expected nothing from this tournament, and we've already got more than that, so we're happy. And the rest of the world is mad.oh i have no doubt when we do go out they'll celebrate and act as though we thought we were going to win it. But news flash, we don't care what you think, you're checking our papers, our news sources, reading our fans reactions, it's never the other way around, England are BOX OFFICE.
Portugal for one, is more hated.
no one here hates England, in fact, I want them to do well. France, Portugal, Italy(Balotelli really), and England are the only European teams I can stomach. I hate most Euro teams. Only reason why it seems like England is the only target is because, no one else resides in these other countries in this thread. So we're doing just to jerk your chain a little bit. But lets be honest, we're telling the truth, this England team isn't that good.

What don't you quite get, most England fans are happy, because they didn't think this current team could get 4 points from France and Sweden.

England hasn't reached the final of ANY competition since the 1966 controversial fluke. In fact, they hadn't done anything even before 1966.
Since, they've reached the semis only twice (1990 World Cup and 1996 Euros). They also failed to qualify for World Cups (74,78,94) and Euros (64,72,76,84,08).
That's beyond abysmal... and yet they consider themselves as a major soccer nation!
Even "their" clubs relative success is brought by foreign players, foreign coaches, foreign owners and foreign money
