Toronto’s pretty dope. Just the housing/rent is so expensive.
The main things I like about Toronto are that the roads are in much better condition than Montreal and you don’t have to worry about stupid language politics.

The only thing that it had holding it in the past was most of the good jobs but like you mention now working remotely you can literally be anywhere.
Avg rent like 1,800, car insurance highest anywhere in north america, transit is putrid, stress levels of the chain. Weather is not even good. Pay 100k down on a house and be stuck with a million dollar mortgage
