Do we have any clear evidence that gyms are a clear source of spread? I think its a fantasy to think Ontario is one or two shutdowns away from turning into New Zealand. Transmission will never go down to zero when its already this widespread in the community.If these new restrictions don't show any effect, we are gonna hear people screaming for schools to be shut down, even though they very clearly are not a source of transmission. Also will be very hard for the Government to remove the restrictions after 28 days. Public has learned to view shut downs as the only way to address this virus.

Little kids do not transmit this virus as much as people thought, otherwise we'd be seeing cases in the dozens across the Province. A significant number of the positive cases so far are from cases caught outside schools. Beyond that, hospitalizations have been 0 for school kids and teachers in Ontario. If a single teacher was hospitalized, we'd surely have heard the unions publicize it already.

There is no way a shutdown similar to Wuhan is possible in Canada lol.
Italy's shutdown didn't last as long as our own, and they never came close to zero transmission. They still have thousands per day and are moving up again.
