I’m about to interview a Black woman for a high power position in my org. I’m basically gonna recommend her regardless of how it goes unless it’s an absolute disaster.

Be careful breh

My bro in law was reported to hr at that racist azz hospital in Brampton. He was a manager and hired a Black supervisor. Someone wrote a letter to hr that he hired his friend :mjtf:

my brother in law never even knew the dude before

I’m quite confident that won’t happen to me. For many reasons. And if it does? fukk it. I’m talented. I’ll bounce back

She’s moving forward to the second interview. I really liked her.

Two of our three candidates moving forward are Black actually. When I came to the org I was the only Black person there, which I spoke up about and had to navigate in some very calculated and sensitive ways but now we got some representation on every level and every team. Gotta be strategic sometimes.

Stockwell day y'all

Day went on to compare the bullying he endured as a child with the discrimination faced by visible minorities across the country.

"Should I have gone through school and been mocked because I had glasses and was called four-eyes and because of the occupation of my parents?" Day asked. "Should I have been mocked for all that? No, of course not. But are Canadians largely and in majority racist? No, we are not.

I'm sure every breh here has experience racism in toronto/canada

Always being followed even though I make money than the store owner, denied jobs once they see you at a job interview or your name is to ethnic etc.

I remember going to tim hortons in chatham-kent and ordered my meal then this cac comes in and tells the cashier "betcha didn't expect to see one of them today" :dahell:
