I don’t know how people downtown just accept meals at the basic fast food spots/food courts being $20 on average

This is crazy. And all these spots are booming downtown

People have bought into the lifestyle and I know most aren’t “rich”

Just imagine what the actual rich are paying at fancy upscale restaurants downtown :banderas:

I remember one vendor in Nathan philips sq tried to charge me like $6 for a beef patty. And people was actually paying that price :wtf:
Your average lunch mean is now 25 dollars
Used to be 12 just before covid

I find most people marry within their culture, but mess around with other people before they settle down.
this

somali, ethio and eritrean gravitate to west africans. probably because we are a lot more masculine and ambitious/intelligent than their men tend to be

So I’m big on fitness/training/meal prep and rarely eat out

Was in Richmond Hill to meet a client and was starving so decided to go to Rutherford Marketplace Aroma got a half grilled chicken and avocado sandwich. 10 bucks. Literally a 2 bite sandwich.

I made a comment to the cashier it’s been years since I ate there and I’m like this shyt doubled :wtf:

and she’s like I know :manny:

“Two bite sandwich” :mjlol:

That’s crazy. In USA I still got the mentality I can get a 5 dollar foot long subway sandwich type of deals when it comes to fast food spots

I didn’t even bother seeing what subway prices were in Toronto :unimpressed:

At least TTC is free :hubie:

So I got my first vaccine last year, April or May. Got it much later than everyone. I had gotten covid twice beforehand.

I’m a guy who never gets sick, maybe every winter at most like the average person. Now like every 2-3 months I get sick. Literally. Back then I could be with a shorty full sick and id be fine, now i just get sick out of nowhere
