IDK breh, I’m not one to argue Canada’s a hell hole and that’s it impossible to succeed, but it’s okay to contrast life in other places.

Of course States isn’t heaven, but it’s definitely possible to flourish here. I have family ties in States, and know multiple Canadians who moved here for work. Majority are doing well and are well established.

Aside from Canada, I’ve lived in Africa, Middle East, Turkey and travelled plenty. I’m don’ viewing this from limited perspective.

Read our entire exchange. Everyone has a place they feel is for them. Like you I've lived several places and no where is perfect. Some people prefer to live in Columbia or Gamiba than North America. I know 2 people that left Canada and America to go make life in Somalia and Kenya again. To each their own.

I've responded to one post without reading an entire exchange before, which has caused me to miss context, so I get it.

Fully agreed, no where’s perfect, all about finding a place that works for you and your situation.

But we have free healthcare and low crime :troll:

Highest car insurance in North America check
Highest cell phone bills in North America check
Highest real estate in North America check
Highest taxes in North America check
Lowest wages for a big city in North America check

No one wants to talk about this: Canada's health system ranked second last among 11 countries: report

Also, anyone ever wonder why Florida and Alabama can put up 50k cases of covid a day and have ICU capacity and we put up 5k and the system is jammed?

Infrastructure and mandates from the government as well as from the health board. I see the same thing in the educational system.

If you're my age you probably remember Mike Harris the guy who sold the 407 for 3.1 billion dollars, closed a bunch of hospitals and fired nurses.

Mike harris also the guy who killed the OAC year, de-streamed grade 9

I've read about it and all he did was cause mayhem. The educational system was going to be updated with multiculturalism in history, native Indians and black people. That got axed under his tenure.

Conservatives have ruined the growth of this country. Science development under Harper, transit mess. Liberals aren't any better.

They will

Nova Scotia liberals got cocky and called a snap elections in that province, and the Conservatives won majority instead.

I think we are downplaying the silent conservative voters. This September we might see a shocker.
