I saw this on my FB feed the other day... just feel like sharing

:snoop:

Status kicked off like this...

:what:

The reasoning behind that point of view?...
:dead:

I bet they love Tyler Perry movies though

:sas1:
Sounds like the type of person that wants to be spoon-fed humor instead of having to think about it, and the movie kind of hits on that, especially after the article he did recently about how Hollywood is towards minorities.

Watched it earlier tonight; thought it was a cool movie and very well written. I think the people that are hating on it, some of premises in it went over their heads.

Movie was hilarious so were the cameos.
The jfk joke might be the funniest joke I've ever heard. It was so over the line that it crossed back over.

My favorite cameo was
dmx was hilarious, caught me completely off guard :laff:

Was sad seeing tracy morgan though, knowing what happened to him and what he's going through now. He was funny as usual.

'stop...shut the fukk up and stick to rapping'.....
'i'm expressing myself nikka'....

lmao

Just got back to seeing it with fam and some friends. Thought it was an amazing film. It was smart, hilarious, and entertaining. I could tell is was something Rock really wanted to make. The cameos were great as well. There were a lot of subtle messages throughout the movie as well as the over all hip hop theme being present but not overbearing.
One of my friends I was seeing it with said she hated it and didn't get a lot of it. She's not really into black culture so scenes like the dmx scene (which was fukking hilarious) were going over her head. Doesn't surprise me, but it was interesting to see the difference between her and my sister who are friends and how they accepted the movie. My sister loved it and is pretty well versed into hip hop and black culture.

Overall tho I give it and 8.5 out of 10.

Chris Rock and Malaak Compton-Rock are divorcing after 19 years of marriage. People reports that Rock’s lawyer Robert S. Cohen confirmed the news in a statement:

“Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak, This is a personal matter and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family,” Cohen said.

Malaak Compton-Rock also released a statement on Sunday confirming the split:

“After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways,” she wrote. “Being fortunate enough to lead a life of service by working with those most vulnerable makes me well aware of life’s blessings, even when faced with difficulties."

Compton-Rock is the founder of two nonprofits, the Angel Rock project and styleWorks.

She continued, “While recognizing that this is a significant change, my children remain at the center of my life and their well-being is my top priority. It is in this spirit that I sincerely ask that their privacy and the privacy of our family be respected during this transition in our lives.”

The pair married in 1996 and have two daughters together: Lola, 12, and Zahra, 10.
