I enjoyed it. Most of the jokes land. Jane Foster Thor's action scenes were surprising good. I didn't expect her to have some of the coolest action moments.

Korg talking about his two dads was also a retcon. In Thor: Ragnarok, Korg mentions having a mother. It's weird for Taika to retcon his own movie.

Bateman pulling the Noob Saibot was classic. Thor about to be on that Kratos steeze taking on the Greek Pantheon.

I wonder if they are going expand on a possible Knull storyline, with the arachnid heavy shadow constructs.

I did wish we got more of Gorr. I was waiting for him to pull the Freiza and transform into his comic version with the head tentacles. Extra 30 minutes could have helped.

I liked that we have other characters seamlessly involved in other franchise movies. Seeing the GOTG just in the cut really cements that this is a shared universe.

Actually surprised me by how little the guardians talked or really had anything really funny to add considering who they are. They felt very grounded compared to how they usually come across which is funny for a THOR movie. Like how is thor and his companions more silly than the guardians of the galaxy?

Read this and thought it was accurate.

I'm thinking maybe they should have introduced Kang in a film, instead of a D+ show, if he is going to be the ultimate bad of this phase. We know that the multiverse will play a big part in the future, but we need a MacGuffin to moor every entry to one another and to keep the stakes up, especially now. Now it's like, if one world gets blown up who cares, since there are infinite others that are 99.9999% similar.

People are talking secret wars, so it would be cool if they did some kind of battle of the universes thing, with the losers getting their universes pruned.

That would’ve been very hard if not impossible to pull b/c the Fox merger had just barely went through by the time Endgame came out.
