Movie was pretty good tho kinda all over the place. 7/10

I'll say though, the original plot leaks don't even REMOTELT resemble the final movie. Leakers gotta hold that L. It's better for it though, cuz that original plot sounded like ass

I was avoiding so much stuff so I can go into this movie fairly with a blank slate.

Something like Jane had become Thor, taken over the throne, and was looking for a lover and her relationship with Valkyrie developing. And Thor was gonna basically be a secondary character.

40 minutes in and this movie is TRASH

The way they poorly introduced Gorr and his story from the very beginning gave a bad sign of things for how the movie was going to go. I just don't think it did an overall good job with putting the script together well. Almost every scene had some type of comic relief, even even tried to make Gorr a comedian. Outside parts of when they were on Omnipotence and the Shadow Realm, the movie was lackluster. Right now I feel I'd give it the edge over Dark World for Thor films but its a bottom five MCU film

I hope so, it was like a 10 year old from 1983 was given a 200 million dollar budget to go crazy with the production. I wanted to leave numerous times...That edgy white boy Aussie humor didn't hit one bit...

This was really cringe. I actually love Guns n Roses but why were all of their songs blasting in every scene? That was weird AF. I didn't know Christian Bale was going to be in this. I feel like he could have been a great villain but he was barely there. It was like Taika Waititi was scared to get too dark. Thor has one of the most tragic stories in the MCU and they made a comedy out of most it. Some of the humor was good but a lot of it was over the top and forced. It cut the emotional impact of a lot of scenes and came across as trite and gimmicky. I did like the emotional scenes at the end. And I actually thought the goats were funny at first but they got old really fast. The first Thor is still the best one because the humor is natural and the emotional beats are true and they let them breathe.

so this whole time, thor could give other people temporary thor powers, and he had hawkeye and black widow out there fighting aliens and robots with arrows and bullets?

I don’t think he could always do it or at least realize it til his enchantment on his hammer worked to protect Jane. Odin enchanted the hammer too when he banished Thor and made him become worthy, I thought it was a nice tie in to Odin actually

Actually surprised me by how little the guardians talked or really had anything really funny to add considering who they are. They felt very grounded compared to how they usually come across which is funny for a THOR movie. Like how is thor and his companions more silly than the guardians of the galaxy?
