The broader story is rudderless and the films themselves are rudderless. There's hints of great scenes in some of the films, but they've literally all fallen flat. To me, No Way Home was only good for nostalgia. It was a mess of a story. I had so much hope for Eternals and MoM, those movies should've set so much up for the next 5 years of films. Phases 1-3 did that so well while still allowing the films stand on their own.

At this point, MCU got one more shot with me and that's BP2. If that's the same type of unfocused storytelling I'm good on MCU as a whole.

I DESPISED how they dismissed all of the cosmic entities for End Game yet drop off Eternity in this like he's some blank totem. My favorite part in the infinity gauntlet comic was Thanos fighting Eternity. They did a disservice to how dope that story was as a comic just to give RDJ a chance to say bye 3000

Folks in the beginning of this had so much fun shytting on DC they've been doing this content/movie thing so much better in the past handful of years. (People pretend like the JL/Teen Titan/Batman/Superman cartoons from the late 90s/early 2000s aren't GOAT level shows when comparing DC vs MCU content, but that's for another thread.) Their movies are mostly entertaining, except that WW84 one, and there's no requirement to consume everything everywhere to know what's going down in a single movie.

The problem with their storyline/movie strategy now is Fiege has a mandate to involve D+ to funnel money there so everything has to be interconnected and tying mediocre shows to the movies has dragged the whole thing down.

Upon 2nd viewing :

In Omnipitence city is that Bast in front of Valkyrie?

in the place where Gorr recreated that statue of Eternity the statue that "fell" on the kids was one of Arishem the Judge.

I feel like they are gonna make "gorrs daughter" the entity Love or (what im leaning more towards) Singularity from the 2015 battleworld run which makes sense cause when gorr was dying the water showed a reflection of the girl and she looked exactly like singularity from the comics
edit: Or Now which is the daughter of eternity Now (Cosmic Being) (Earth-616)
The reflection was
eternity
