Capcom not slick. They really skipping over 3s. Like they treating it like the b*stard child. Sure they took certain elements from it, but they basically bridged it ALL THE WAY from 5 past 3rd strike. No 3s characters at all. But YET....we still got the fukkin "WoRlD WaRriORs" in the game. I'm tired of that shyt. Roster woulda been perfect if they replaced them with 3s characters. Best thing they did was replace the whole roster ffor the new generation. And u telling me that Sean isn't "Ken" to Luke's new "Ryu" status?
..But with all that said, this shyt a 1st day cop fasho. Roster outfits look the best I've ever seen these mfs look. They look like actual STREET fighters. Plus Blanka wavy af wit that Bandana, they been blessing him with the fits lately

Well I must say, I'm all for the Sad Corbin-Ken change. It's still fukk Ken, all day, everyday, so it's about time he lives up to his bumass status frfr.
I will say, I detest how Capcom mostly ignores its own newly created characters. By a default rule, they should bring back at least 2-4 characters from each main game, rather than just keep relying on the overdone, tried and true original 8 from SFII. At best, no more than half of the full Super turbo edition of SFII should appear in games moving forward or at least not as the main roster/canon characters. Also, the majority of characters who's arc revolved heavily around Shadaloo, should be absent, with only a few select exceptions (like Sagat & Juri). There's no reason that the game taking place in Metro City with no Cody/Mike/Guy on the main roster. They only just created Lucia as playable character in V, so she should've been main roster with that and the Metro City locale involved. There should be at least 2 alpha characters as well. And if they got some of the Final Fight characters in, then that could've double-filled that spot.

Kinda wack how they brought Akira in late in the game and didn’t bring her back. I’d be way more excited for them to bring in more RS characters than SF3

you do know last time they tried this they damn near killed the franchise. Nostalgia sells. But I do agree 3S shoulda got some representation. But its obvious they are saving alpha, 3rd Strike and SFIV for DLC packs.

Literally, half of the cast is from SF2.
That's not even good for DLC packs because you know they'll have to sneak in Sagat, Bison, and Balrog at some point to sell passes to old heads like they did with SFV.
Meanwhile, you have a game set in Metro City with no Final Fight characters and no reps for both SF3 and Alpha.
That's just a really lopsided roster for no reason, ain't a soul out there that can convince me they couldn't bench Dhalsim until Season 3 to have Menat in the base roster.
And Blanka gotta go to whatever circle of hell Darkstalkers is locked into. Trash ass character should've been booted when Ono left.
