It's definitely a skill gap depending on the time a day you play. Early in the morning and late at night are where the real thirsty players are at but middle of the day is where the more casual players are at. Won 12 of my last 13 matches playing in the middle of the day to rank up to 2 star platinum.

The good thing about sf6 over 5 is the skill gap is pretty apparent again.


In SF5 everyone you had to be drastically better than your opponent to notice a skill difference because the skill gap was so compact

If you’re in platinum 1 star I can guarantee you didn’t earn that shyt. So many fraudulent ass players who were Silver in SFV checked that experienced box when getting placed.
