I can't believe PSA 10 Silver Prizm Zions are going for $3K and higher.
I knew only chance i had to pull one was through retail product or i was never going to cop one and my brain wont let me spend 3k on a card.Especially not one thats 6 months old...
They've been tabbed "the" card. It meant more when Silvers and TC Refractors were actually limited. Panini has b*stardized them by cranking the presses.
For comparison's sake, some of the major refractors by year:
1996 Kobe TC Refractors graded by PSA: 398 total
1997 Duncan: 373
1998 Vince: 413 (only 113 Dirks have been graded
)2003 LeBron: 497
2007 Durant: 296 (was numbered to 1499)
2009 Curry: 59 (was numbered to 500)
2013 Giannis: 120
2016 Simmons: 324
2018 Doncic: 2,656
2019 Zion: 654 already
In two years from Simmons to Doncic they made like ten times more. That's why Optic took off last year. The Holos and everything else were still actually limited.

Theres way more Doncic and the fact in 2 years his value has lapped guys that are already HOFers with much lower pop is a stain on the hobby imo.Tim Duncan TC is absurdly undervalued...
Ur right theres way less optic which even tho its considered 2nd to prizm makes it more desirable to me...the number of trae silvers really surprised me.
Im actually considering trae fast break prizms now cuz theres ALOT less of them.I think i read theres only 45 graded compared to 1900 silvers...

Not the worst idea. I want to get a Fast Break photo variation of Morant and Zion.
It's dangerous how quickly guys like Luka and Zion are getting so highly priced. Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin were really high when they exploded out of the gates too.
Duncan, Dirk and Wade are undervalued. I just picked up a Duncan SP Authentic RC. I wish I woulda bought Wade a year or two ago. I told myself to and never did and now his prices are way up but still low compared to the recent guys.
I think Albert Pujols is incredibly undervalued in comparison to Trout. His Topps Chrome Traded RC has 331 PSA 10s and Topps Traded RC has 218 PSA 10s. They're in the $300-450 range.
Meanwhile, there's almost 4,700 PSA 10s of Trout's Topps Update alone and they're pushing $1,500. shyt doesn't make any sense.

Shaq's Upper Deck RC is still a sleeper, imo. Only 301 PSA 10s out of over 8,000 graded.
I was thinking Shaq cards overrall including his 90s inserts might be next up..They are like many others from the 90s undervalued...
I have noticed recently boxes of 92-93 UD basketball available for cheap.I had a hobby box of 92-93 Topps Stadium Club in my watchlist awhile back for the Shaq rookie and the MJ,Shaq beam team cards.
I was on to this idea that Shaq cards could be next to spike and i wanted to get ahead of it...
2012 Prizm is going nuts. I might have to sell my Curry.
Bought it for $350 last year but there's an auction going right now and it's already at $1,350 with 6 days to go. PWCC has a Kobe over $1,800. If base LeBrons are going for $1,300...I don't want to be left holding the bag on this if/when they come crashing down.

You have auctions on Ebay whats ur handle ? I dont blame sellers for trying to get that when thats what theyre going for but you have to be dumb to buy a base card for that much,if i was gonna spend 1500.00 on a card a base prizm wouldnt be anywhere near my top 100 list...
