Received three of my cards in the mail today.

Only one I'm waiting on is Murray on card auto. It's the one that has slight damage on the card. It shipped from Australia and should be at my house in the next day or two.

That was actually my exact thought. I feel like if I'm going to go "big" on these cards, I might as well make it worth it and maximize by going for a 10.

If you see any 10's that you think are priced decent or I could make an offer on, definitely let me know.

At prices like that, always go the extra mile and get a 10. Wait if you must but you'll get the most bang for your buck with 10s.

That Mahomes gold optic I had posted before, I seem to be having a hard time finding that exact card on PSA or any site. Are you able to link me one that has been sold and/or graded? There's so many different variations of these cards, I'm a little lost.

I believe it was a 2019 or 2020 gold optic /10?

It's a 2019 Optic. Are you trying to go through PSA's site to have it graded? There's been five graded by PSA so far with zero 10s.

I'm not sure if I'm trying to go through them to have it graded. Was trying to figure out what it would be worth raw right now. I will likely get it graded though, and I plan on hanging onto it for a while. I don't plan on selling any of the cards I got recently anytime soon.

Would you recommend getting it graded? I'm not worried about spending money to get it graded if it's worth it.

I'm going to guess this person would say no to this offer, but what do you think about this one anywhere from $5,000-6,500?

Contenders is confusing now. There's so many variations of rookie autos and I don't follow football closely enough to monitor its trends. From what I can see, $5-6.5K seems fair.

That Stafford's way too high, about 2x. 2009 is the worst Contenders. That's the same year as Stephen Curry's RCs. The card stock on those is garbage for holding sigs. Look at how blotchy that Stafford auto is. Same thing with Curry Contenders cards that year. That's why you rarely see auto grades for that year and the majority are with PSA instead of BGS.

It hasn't affected prices too much but long term, those cards are gonna be horrible.

Sounds good. I think I'm going to make an offer for the Lamar card I posted. I think I'll offer $6,000, but I would be willing to go to $7,000. If you think $7,000 is an overpayment, definitely let me know. I know it's all subjective and opinion based, but if you think $7,000 is too much, I'll hold off.
