I'm always @ racist who chose boxing of all sports to follow. A sport traditionally dominated by latinos and blacks.

If I would be a racist I'd rather follow something like... water polo, handball or idk... but not a sport which'd constantly make me angry.

Watched it again, rescored the fight. Once again ended up on Ward winning 114-113. Very close fight, lots of rounds can go either way but I saw Ward making adjustments, he made some excellent body work which seemed to slow Kovalev down in the 2nd half of the fight.

Poland is middle Europe though

Armenia is damn near Asia. It's in the Caucasus on the edge of Europe, next to Turkey and Chechens... even though that on paper they are also white and their religion is christianity

Remember that Kov had the belts, when you going against champ ....you have to win convincingly.

ward - 5,6,7,8,11,12
kovalev - 1,2,3,4.9,10 with the KD in round 2

but like i said i had no problem with 114-113 going either way...it was a very close fight and both fighters deserve props

And let's be clear- Ward is NOT #1. He didn't win clearly enough at all. I was never in the belief that the winner of the fight automatically is #1. It all depended on how the fight was won. And whether ya agree or not, this will forever be considered a controversial victory for Ward. Look at the press and media and boxing gurus- all are in agreement that the fight was close, controversial decision and that this was Wards worst performance since the Boone fight.

SOG did what we said he would do....the same thing he's been doing since he was pre-teen.....win



We got people trying to say he's not #1 P4P and someone else is, when NO ONE in Boxing has a bigger win than the one SOG just got on Saturday



Beat the undefeated WBA, WBO, IBF Light Heavyweight Champion who was ranked #2 in the world P4P (while SOG is #4 P4P).........and then have advanced casuals say you didn't do enough to surpass GGG or Chocalito's best win

GGG too slow

Kovalev got the knock down because ward ran into the punch and didn't see it coming

he got his timing down pretty quick after that, and kovalev slowed down a lot after the fifth, he wasn't even a threat, he didn't even have any power

Knockdown was the deciding factor for me as well. I had it a draw but the Knockdown gives KaK the W.

With all this take it from the champion talk nobody asked why KaK let word do what he wanted the second part of the fight. What happened to him knocking ward the fukk out. They said if he hits ward it's over. Well, what happened?
