Meanwhile, while ya making no sense online I'm on the airplane chatting with Teddy Atlas and Larry Merchant- two guys who know more about boxing than all of us. They both scored the fight for Kovalev and both stated verbatim there was no way a Russian was going to win a decision in the US against an undefeated US gold medalist with 3 US judges and especially not with the odds on a Kovalev decision victory being 4/1 and the odds on a draw being 18/1

Seriously though... Atlas had Kovalev by ONE point which means it was 6-6 in his opinion. So it doesn't back any of that "robbery" and "politics" crying.

Poor Russians... at home turf they are the biggest scums with foreigner fighters but now I'm supposed to feel bad for Kovalev cause he lost on a close fight in a country where he fights for 8 years now? Get all the way the fukk outta here...

They are both well known to the American audience, they both built up their professional career in the USA, Kovalev even learned English , Vegas is the Mecca of boxing, market is suited for American needs cause they ca earn the most money there and the mot people will tune in to this fight there.

so again... where the fukk else they should fight the rematch?

The fight was close it wasn't a robbery it's not about the fukking Cold War or politics, it was just a close fight and Kovalev apparently lost it...

Kovalev is a great great fighter. I have tremendous respect for his skill, but he will NEVER beat Andre Ward unless he is willing to fight. Someone mentioned Castillo....if you look at the first fight with Floyd....when Castillo was giving it to Floyd, Floyd stood there inside and FOUGHT with Castillo. Thats why Floyd won. The 2nd fight, he chose to make it easier and just boxed him. There are soooo many other examples of this. Had OLDH wanted to "fight" against Tito and Mosley (rematch) he wouldve won. One thing that Floyd and Ward have in common to me is, they are both severely underrated in terms of their PHYSICAL strength. No fighter has been able to physically bully them.

Fight was difficult to score on first watch live. Cant wait to watch the fight again. Was suprised the judges gave Ward round 10.. personally thought the fight was gonna end in a draw
Very close fight.. but I am pleased with the outcome..

1,2,4,10, --> Kovalev
3,5,7,8,9,11,12 --> Ward

so ironically I can also based on my first post fight comment (only cause it's not 114-113 but 115-113 though)

I still understand if someone gave it to Kovalev though but it was no robbery at all and someone gotta tell all these casuals that compact short punches on the inside to the body are actually count, count very much apparently as you could see in the fight when Kovalev's speed decreased by lot.

Kovlev can say that compare his post fight face and Ward's but I'm also sure that only one of them will piss blood from body shots the next days and it's ain't Ward.
