Items are starting to arrive. I won't post everything as it comes as that would be obnoxious as hell but I am particularly happy with how this came out. I paid more for this than I did the game when it dropped. However, I think it turned out perfect.

Last post before radio silence

It came Friday afternoon. Ive put about 10 hours putting it together between the labor, watching tutorials and loading up retropie. Not a bad time. Not done. I still need to add all of the T-Molding. That's why it visually looks unfinished. As far as what I'm playing, I downloaded an image from a site called arcade punks. Retro stuff. I can piggy back off of this. My led lights for the marquee were kinda trash so I'm going to get more soon. This wasn't hard to do, even with the instructions not being clear. I've played a few games, just as I remember them as a kid. Fun times await.

Coronavirus got shyt fukked up in Cali so I don't know when the my chairs are coming. I'm holding onto the futon till then. I have some gaming stools for the arcade machine and some cellular blinds coming so you see my hood curtain hanging, lol. Probably will replace my door. In any event, I've been busy since the middle of July though. I have befores and afters here. For many things that aren't in the afters, I put them in storage like Rock Band stuff. I play it like once a year. I don't need it out. I tried to go minimal with all of this. Also, if you happened to read my previous posts, I wanted posters. I said fukk it and got canvas. Far more pricey but I think the quality was worth it. All but the Mario are 20x30 inches. The Mario canvas is 24x40 inches.

Pc room/office is almost done, just added the 55" Samsung Q90T tv to sit above the 49" Dell Ultrawide. Full motion mounts on both screens. Onkyo Atmos AVR running 4.1 speaker setup with Energy L/C/R and Velodyne 10/12 sub. Drobo 5C for backup.

Love the Onkyo Atmos receiver. I'm jumping in the audiophile game finally. Excited to grab a Marantz 1711 later this month.

Thanks, smaller version of the one in the living room. I haven't decided on whether I will wire up the room for overheads and rears. Right just doing photo and video work in there, running Photoshop, Lightroom, and Sony Vegas.

Atmos is the game changer for surround sound, you will love it. That Marantz unit is nice.

Brehs with OLED TVs, how long have you had them, and how is the burn-in? Other than OLED, what's the best 4K panel to look at?

As long as your arenโ€™t watching CNN or playing shyt like 2k, fifa, or games with a bunch of HUDS for multiple hours daily you should be fine. The tech is much better today as far as prevention of burn in. People act like OLEDs are some glass cannons

I don't even intend on playing games on this one that much, just was curious. From what you're saying sounds like how plasmas got a rep for it but the higher end models didn't really have issues.

I have a Panny Viera from 2012 that I didn't use for gaming that's still fine.

What are you all doing for cable management? I slacked on this aspect at my previous house, but with this new crib I'm trying to have my wires out of the way and everything looking clean.

I'm already thinking about putting some brackets under my desk to keep the floor from looking crazy, just trying to get some inspiration or some ideas on how folks are doing it.

Got the google home, a bunch of smart bulbs, and smart outlets installed. So now my entire entertainment room can be voice activated. :obama:

turn on the arcade, dim the lights, play something on youtube, turn the temp down, etc :whew:
