The sound stuff was mostly passed down from an older relative. The Receiver, I had to buy a new one because the Technics one which was manufactured in '94 wasn't working (it overheat, then shut off). It sounds nice though, don't let the big speakers fool you. The laptop that sits on the subwoofer is an HTPC.

I'm pretty content with the speakers, although they're outdated. Just want a bigger TV and a bigger stand to fit the consoles and the HTPC.

The other box is a DirecTV box, but I'm guessing you're joking on that with the play of the xbone being another cable box eh.

The furniture is back further I only have a couch, love seat and 3 tables...shouldn't be any furniture in front of your tv unless you have it on a computer desk.
