Same here. Got the page loaded up, account info up to date. Just waiting now. Gonna start hitting refresh a couple minutes before 3 like the rest of the planet and wait for the site to crash.

I saw someone mention that they got a PS5 and their TV has HDMI 2.0 and the PS5 was only outputting 1080p...
can anyone confirm this? I haven't been able to find that reported anywhere else online.
HDMI 2.0 supports 4K 60fps and it works fine on the ps4...if it doesn't work on PS5 then Sony screwed up big time.

HDMI 2.0 supports 4K 60fps which is what my PS5 is connected to.

That person might have something either wrong in their setup or they're mistaken.

Not doubting you, but just so I'm clear...you confirmed it right? Like through the settings on the PS5 where you see what it's outputting?
(I obviously don't have a PS5 yet so I don't know what that looks like, but as you know, on the PS4 it tells you what it's outputting).

that's what I get on my KS8000 Sammy. 4k60 using HDMI 2.0

still holding out hope for a projector soon using hdmi 2.1 with HDR and VRR.

I'm good with 4k60 on my current TV for now.

I'm holding out as well. I could cop the new TCL 6 series that's native 120hz right now but with no games (or content in general) readily available in native 4K 120fps w/ ray tracing at the moment, I'm just gonna wait.
4k 30/60fps with ray tracing is awesome as is.
The new gen TCL 6 series have HDMI 2.1 at $900 for 65"and I've been really happy with the previous gen of the 6 series. By the time they have a enough content to even warrant the upgrade that $900 might even go for less.
