didn't preorder ps3 early and got one the day it launched. actually the wife picked it up for me from walmart.

Yeah if you didn't preorder, get lucky on release day you're, or decide to buy one from Ebay with rape prices you're SOL for a while. I'd advise anyone who missed the Amazon preorders to sign up for the restock notification email thing.
