Check around slickdeals, I've seen the newer T4i model for some decent prices with a nice zoom lens included.

Also, when you're looking into buying a camera, check out snapsort.com for spec comparisons, and check out flickr or some other photo site like Google+, tumblr, Picasa web to see what kind of pictures people are taking with the cameras you're looking into.

I copped the T3,
I'm basically an novice,
so this joint should suit me well.
I read that the T3i is better than the T34?
The T34 is only better because of its touch screen.
