It's a textbook, but I don't even think he was required to get it for class. He got it after reading the reviews for it.

I didn't like any of the pics I took to day (now yesterday)
Couldn't quite get the angling or spacing right for the shot I was trying to get. I should have just put the kit lens on it so I could adjust accordingly but I was lazy and didn't even feel like going up stairs to do it.
