Its very frustrating when u are framing an image in your head and after post editing, the image does not match what I envisioned while taking the shot...

fukk man...

For those that shoot RAW, how do you go about handling all those files with your storage? Right now I'm just dropping them on my HDD after a day of shooting, but I think I'm going to have to delete stuff that I know I'll never use.

Do you only import RAW files that you intend on editing? I have the jpeg versions of all my photos as well.

I have a 2TB external harddrive I copped for like $80. Once every 2 months or so, I take all of my RAW files and transfer them on to the external to save space.

Ideally I would like to have some sort of cloud storage so I can access my files from anywhere, but I know that shyt would be too expensive.

Oh yeah I just copped a 9 1/2 foot light stand and 60" umbrella. The T3i has a Master built into the flash, and I will use my 430 Ex II as the off camera slave...I will be trying to implement some of the strategies from that ONE LIGHT dvd and will be doing some portrait work in the coming weeks...Im hyped brehs :stylin:

Hmm, I have a 500GB external already, and I have 3TB in my PC. I think I'm a load the RAW joints on the external, and just keep the jpegs on a local drive since they don't take up nearly as much space.

Why not get a pro Flickr account and upload all of your jpegs there?

One of my favorite shots of yours

Thanks breh.

I was literally just messing around with the cam when I shot that one too. It's a pic that would have never happened before I started taking my cam everywhere with me. Shot it from my lap too.
