Anyone in here shoot film?

I got a Contax G2 35mm but the autofocus is crazy unreliable. A lot of my shots coming back with the background in focus and my subject out. Really frustrating because when this camera hits the quality of the G Mount lenses looks borderline medium format.

Finally got a 50mm (1.8) for my Canon RP a few weeks ago.



Did a graduation shoot and the photos came out amazing. I missed that nifty fifty.
Even for my street shyt just walking around, love how the photos came out. (+ editing)

Any Canon RF users here? Just moved from a 6d to canon R6 but so far I have only used the STM kit lens with it. I need to put my other glass on here tho and finding that canon lens adapter has been daunting. Anyone have experience with the 3rd party EF to RF adapters?

I ended up getting a third party adapter, works pretty well. Hadn't had any issues. I only use it for my EF 24mm.

Not currently, but am thinking of buying one. I used to use them long ago shooting film and they were gold.

I have one, haven't used it in years. Back when I was doing portraits with single light setups it was with me at all times.

nah, i just use the camera's built in lightmeter

Yup. And white card stays in my bag for checking white balance as necessary.
