I render it straight out of final cut. I have the compressor program from apple but I’ve never even opened it.
I render the footage in 4K mp4 and select “best quality” as opposed to the faster render option.
If I recall correctly, I also the select “best for computer” option in the drop down for render settings. I try to also render an H.264 version of the video for my own archive purposes. I rarely keep a copy of the project files once the video is finished.
I was dead set on buying two of these cameras until I saw that they went with their own lens mount. Now I’m more interested in getting the canon 1dx mkiii
The BlackMagic Pocket cameras didn't get the Netflix co-sign? Those are cheaper cinema cameras than the SH1
Maybe. I’m not looking for the Netflix co-sign though. I want a full frame camera that does 4K 60fps with top notch autofocus. For the types of shoots I do (a lot of gimbal work) autofocus is important and canon is the king in that field.
The latest black magic camera is a beast spec wise though and I’ve looked into them quite a bit.
I hear you, the BM cams have great image quality but you need to build them up with accessories to make them feasible. The file sizes are huge too if you are shooting RAW.
The S1H reportedly has bad autofocus as well, so I see why you passed on it.

yeah i shot some with my 85 1.8.
and this was shot with one of my pentax 50mm 1.4 lenses and some manual adapter i got off Amazon.
A recent shoot I had with Olympian (discus)Whitney Ashley.
What program do you use for skin correction?
