Photoshop

Am I pretty much right that photoshop is best for people and Lightroom is more suited for landscapes and animals?

i heard only if you shoot a lot of video it's worth upgrading if you have the 80d

the sensor is nice thoug

thanks cause I’m still struggling on choosing an entry level camera

the worse thing I’ve done is read reviews because it seems like the photography nerds have an issue with every new Nikon or canon release that they nitpick about

they seem worse than the IPhone heads

Lightroom is just a streamlined version of photoshop.

What do you guys think of the new Canon90D? What are your criticisms or do you think it’s all pros?

@Majestyx
:hubie: would not cop a new DSLR in this day and age with all these mirrorless bodies with better specs. Canon also likes to cripple video in its bodies.

that jawn is 1200.. I'd go check out how a mirroless body feels in your hands. IF you already have canon lenses tho, then the 90D is solid.

depends on work flow. I went back and forth between the two, now i rarely use photoshop on portraits because i dont like how freq separation looks.

even if I’m just trying to do portrait work? So what’s the best mirrorless camera you would recommend now?

There is no perfect camera. You need to determine what type of photography you will be doing the most of and choose a camera that is strong for that type of photography.

there is no best camera for that... some would say a7ii because of the eye autofocus. I dont particulary like how sony's feel in my hand, so i use a fuji x-t2. i do like how the new nikon z6 feels, but I dont have nikon lenses anmmore. I mean if your budget is 1200-2000, i'd go to a camera store, or best buy and go play with cameras... Most important thing is lenses

Rounding out HYPEBEAST’s top ten is the Olympus Tough TG-6. This camera is undoubtedly one of the best performing cameras for those on-the-go, making it an excellent device for travelers and adrenaline junkies. Its rugged appearance is backed up by shock resistance of 2.1m, waterproofness of 15m, and can withstand being crushed by 100kg. It’ll manage to take pictures using its top-spec TruePic VIII image processor in conditions as cold as -10°C, too.

OK, I don't know anything about real photography, so forgive my newbie pics. But I borrowed one of these a couple of months ago for when I went snorkeling in Bermuda, and I'm seriously considering buying one for myself:

Is anybody here on Thumbtack?

I've gotten 3 jobs on there in 2 weeks

Also what kind of lighting do my videographers use?

I need to do a better job lighting the dance floor during receptions. I have an on camera light but I'd rather something else

Aperture storm is the way to go. I’m getting the 3 point kit soon.
