Yes thats a very good lens...only knock on it is that some people feel like the body is cheap. I was close to getting that but I chose the 50mm 1.4 instead. Can't lose with that price tho.

Lightroom for the majority of my needs (cropping, spot correction, etc)....Photoshop for like 10-15% of the time.

The question is, does that extra f stop and better build quality = the extra $200 :ld: I think so...but for a lot of people the 1.8 serves them just fine....

I'll stick with the 130 dollar joint. Going to pick up the cam in an hour, and lens tonight too. My shorty coming with me to check it out so I feel good about it.

:salute:

:myman:

Remember to take your laptop if u can so u can take some test shots...you'll be straight with that lense.

How much did he let it go for?

400, my girl checked it thoroughly and said its in mint condition. picked up a lens and it was actually on sale

so paid about 515 for camera, with the 18-55mm kit lens and the 50mm lens i linked earlier..and charger, cords etc

good deal?

You shaved off more than couple hundred off the retail price...now you can use that extra $ towards some glass.

Congrats...

Now start having fun w/ it and post some of your shots up in here.
